Privacy notice Cancellations and refunds Billing

Eco-Raíces is the community-based tourism and ecotourism platform operated by Comercializadora de Productos y Servicios Indígenas Xanay S.A.S. de C.V. ("Eco-Raíces", "we"). These policies apply to anyone who uses the ecoraices.mx website and the application.

1. Privacy notice

In compliance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), we inform you how we handle your personal data.

Data controller

Comercializadora de Productos y Servicios Indígenas Xanay S.A.S. de C.V., with address in Mexico and contact email contacto@ecoraices.mx, is responsible for the processing of your personal data.

Data we collect

• To manage a booking: name, email and phone number.
• To issue an invoice (if you request one): tax details (RFC, legal name, postal code and CFDI use).
• Technical browsing data necessary for the site to work.

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

Purposes

Primary (necessary for the service):

• Manage, confirm and follow up on your booking request.
• Communicate with you about your booking by email or WhatsApp.
• Coordinate your experience with the host community you chose.
• Issue the corresponding receipts or invoices.

Secondary (you may object without affecting your booking):

• Send you information about new experiences and Eco-Raíces news.

If you do not want your data used for secondary purposes, write to us at contacto@ecoraices.mx.

Transfers

We share your contact details with the host community you booked, solely to coordinate your experience. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for other purposes, unless required by law or by a competent authority.

ARCO rights

You have the right to Access, Rectify and Cancel your data, as well as to Object to its processing or revoke your consent. To exercise them, send your request to contacto@ecoraices.mx stating your name, the right you wish to exercise and a means of contact. We will respond within the timeframes set by law.

Retention and security

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described and to comply with legal obligations (for example, accounting and tax). We apply reasonable security measures to protect it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice; the current version will always be on this page, with its update date.

2. Cancellations and refunds

Sending a booking request does not incur any charge. Payment is arranged once the community confirms availability.

If you cancel (after having paid):

• More than 7 calendar days in advance: 100% refund.
• Between 3 and 7 calendar days: 50% refund.
• Less than 3 calendar days or no-show: no refund.

Some experiences may have their own conditions due to their nature (for example, limited capacity or special seasons); if they apply, you are informed before confirming your booking.

If the community cancels or the experience cannot take place due to force majeure (weather, environmental conditions, etc.): you are entitled to reschedule or to a 100% refund.

To cancel or reschedule, write to us at contacto@ecoraices.mx or via WhatsApp as soon as possible.

3. Billing

The prices you see already include taxes. If you need an invoice (CFDI) for your booking, request it by sending your tax details —RFC, legal name, postal code and CFDI use— to contacto@ecoraices.mx within the same month the payment was made.

• Once we receive your details, we issue the corresponding invoice.
• It is not possible to invoice transactions from previous, already closed months.
• If your tax details are incorrect, you must request it again with the corrected details within the valid period.
